Looplet is a private photo- and video-sharing app. This page explains how to delete your account, how to get a copy of your data, and what happens to your data.
Email privacy@looplet.app and ask us to delete your account. To protect you, we never act on an email alone: we send a confirmation link to the email address (or phone number) registered on the account, and delete only after you confirm from there. We complete verified requests within one month — usually much sooner. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
Everything you created — posts, photos and videos (all remaining copies and thumbnails), comments and reactions — is permanently and automatically deleted no later than 30 days after account deletion. During that window, posts you had shared into Loops with other members remain visible to those members, shown as coming from “Deleted User”, then disappear. If your family wants to keep any of those photos they should save them before you delete your account.
You can delete any individual post, photo, video or comment inside the app at any time, clear your date of birth, and remove your profile picture. Deleted posts and media are recoverable by you for 30 days, then permanently erased, including the underlying files. You can also email privacy@looplet.app to ask us to delete specific data.
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you — profile, posts, comments, photos and videos. Email privacy@looplet.app; we confirm the request via the contact details on the account (same verification as above) and deliver your copy in a structured, machine-readable format within one month.
