Effective 1 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Looplet Ltd for your use of the Looplet apps and service. By creating an account or using Looplet, you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use Looplet.
Looplet is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and at least 16 if you are in the EEA or UK.
By creating an account you confirm you meet that age requirement and can enter into this agreement. If we find out an account holder doesn’t, we’ll close the account.
If you create a managed profile for a child or pet in your care, you confirm you have parental responsibility for that child, or own that pet, and that you’re responsible for what is posted with that profile.
Keep your account secure; you’re responsible for what happens under it. Tell us at privacy@looplet.app if you think it’s been compromised. Don’t share your account or hand it to someone else without our agreement.
You own what you post. These terms give us no ownership of your photos, videos or words.
You give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, convert, resize and transmit your content — strictly to operate Looplet and deliver that content to the people you chose. That licence exists so we can compress a video for playback or make a thumbnail, nothing more. It ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies sitting briefly in backups or caches.
We won’t use your content to advertise to you, sell it, or make it public.
You’re responsible for having the right to share what you post, including where it shows other people.
Don’t use Looplet to:
We can remove content, or suspend or close an account, for breaking these terms or the law. Where it’s reasonable to, we’ll tell you why.
We work to keep Looplet running, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted, and we may change or retire features. Looplet is not a backup service. Please keep your own copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.
You can stop using Looplet and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service — in that last case with reasonable notice and a chance to get your content out.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer aren’t affected.
Beyond that, Looplet is provided “as is”, we exclude implied warranties as far as the law allows, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost content to the extent it results from not keeping your own copies. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or GBP 100.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Carrying on using Looplet after that means you accept the update.
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law where you live, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts.
